hey Army's! here are some awesome facts about bts. Bts popularity is rising day by day and there are no signs of them slowing down. Following on a global scale, if you haven't heard of this k-pop group by now, you should start getting used to seeing them everywhere! it won't be wrong to say that BTS is the biggest boy band in the world.

30 facts about BTS that you should know

  • BTS has a lot of meanings - the original one is " Bangtan Sonyeondan" which means "Bulletproof  Boy Scouts" in Korea. The acronym also stands for "beyond the scene."
  • Fans of BTS are called "ARMY" which is an acronym for "Adorable Representative MC for Youth."
  • It consists of seven members - Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, JM, V, JK where RM is the leader.
  • BTS debuted under the entertainment company called Big Hit Entertainment. BTS auditioned in 2010 and finally debuted on 13th June 2013.
  • They started gaining attention six months before their debute. 
  • Without counting covers, re-releases, remixes, and Japanese/Chinese versions, BTS has a total of 147 songs on 8 studio albums + 1 soundtrack album + 2 reissues + 2 compilation albums + 6 EPs + 5 single-albums, 26 songs as non-albums, and 43 songs on 5 mixtapes for a total of 216 songs.
  • They won a total of 252 awards. In America, they have won 31 awards.
  • BTS performed at American Music Awards in 2017 which was their first-ever performance in America.
  • The third full-length album of BTS called"LOVE Yourself: Tear" ranked #1 on Billboard 200.
  • Their album "Love Yourself: Her" retailed more than 1.2 million copies on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart in its first month of release.
  • BTS had two certified Gold singles - "Mic Drop Remix" and " DNA". they are the first Korean artist to acquire two Gold certifications.
  • BTS has been brand ambassadors for Puma since 2015.
  • Each member BTS has donated (roughly) 8,950 USD to the families of the 2014 Sewol Ferry Disaster.
  • RM learned English by watching the popular American sitcom "Friends".
  • Suga is known for rapping in the band but he also is proficient at the piano.
  • Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS, born on Sept 1st, 1997.he is known as Golden maknae.
  • V played saxophone for three years in school.
  • In dorms of BTS, they used to collect 1,000 won who broke a house rule.
  • JK has said that in the future, he either wants to own a duck restaurant or be a tattoo artist.
  • BTS moved into one of the most expensive apartment complexes in Seoul in late 2017.
  • Suga once said that if he became rich, he would buy fans beef, which is expensive in South Korea because of import fees. On his 25th birthday, he donated $19,000 worth of beef to feed orphans.
  • BTS is big into fashion, some of their favorite brands are Gucci, WTAPS, and Calvin Klein.
  • All the members of BTS are not from Seoul, they are from different provinces.
  • Before Suga was introduced to hip hop, he only listened to classical music.
  • Originally, Jimin's stage name was supposed to be baby j or Young kid. After debut, fans gave him many nicknames as chimmy, Chim Chim, Diminie, Dooly, Mochi
  • Jungkook's stage name was going to be a seagull, his favorite English singer is Justin Beiber so he said he wants to be called Justin seagull but fans call him Jeon seagull. Jungkook has nicknames as golden maknae, bunny, kookie, jk, Mr. international playboy, Shining prince, Nochu, ironman, Jungshook(because fans say he look shook all the time), and many more which are not used commonly.
  • JK is the one who sleeps with the most pillows, Jin said "That kid always stealing our pillows! He would steal at least 2-3 pillows from every room before he goes to his own room."

Which BTS songs do you like the most?

 which BTS songs do you like the most? I used the word SONGS because I can't select one song as best song. So as an army I guess everyone is the same. For me it's  Spring day  mikrokosmos  Make it right  Blood sweat and tears  Film out, Just one day  On  dynamite and Life goes on   I don't know if I'm missing any but these songs are included in my daily playlist.  Let's listen to Life goes on as I feel like it. https://youtu.be/-5q5mZbe3V8 Did BTS songs ever comfort you? Did you ever feel like you're melting inside? I felt like that especially when I'm listening to Jimin's solo song (Serendipity) .... I remember now I forgot to mention  serendipity filter promise I'm an OT7 but I like Jimin's voice the best.
